Yorkshire inn

We booked two Mini Deluxe rooms at Hotel Yorkshire Inn, Mount Abu for three days, 17.05.2026 to 20.05.2026, for me, my friend, and our families, including young children. I paid Rs. 1600 per night per room through Goibibo. Although the booking page listed a restaurant, there wasn't one when we arrived. There was only a kitchen, with no place to sit and eat. Renovation was underway, so we had to take the children outside for food three times a day. Once I asked the kitchen for four water bottles and was charged Rs. 40 each for one litre of regular, not cold, water, even though the MRP was Rs. 20. The day before checkout, my son was unwell, so I asked the manager for a three-hour late checkout and offered to pay extra. They wanted Rs. 2200 for those hours. I said that seemed unfair when the room cost Rs. 1600 for a night, and asked for a reasonable rate. The manager said it was the madam's decision and nothing could be done. The madam was the Managing Director, Ms. Anjana Gujral. He called her again, then told me the rate was final. I repeatedly asked for her number so I could speak to her, but he refused. I eventually found it myself and called. She spoke rudely, first telling me to talk to her servant because she'd already given him the message. I explained we were there with family, that Rs. 2200 for three hours wasn't fair, and that we'd had to go out for every meal for all three days, so I hoped they'd cooperate too. She said we should order food to the room and eat there. I told her that was difficult with the children, and she became frustrated, said our three-day stay was over and she didn't want to give me her room, then hung up. The Managing Director's service was pathetic. She was arrogant and egotistical, and very rude to us. We're all human beings, and customers deserve some mercy and kindness.
