Coffee Grove Resort

The room didn’t feel as luxurious as we expected. Its view was disappointing, looking out onto a small patch with little greenery, and the mini fridge wasn’t properly connected. We had to move it to find a power point, which was inconvenient for the price. The setting itself is lovely, though, within a 35-acre coffee plantation, with peaceful surroundings, excellent food, and polite, helpful staff. I’d give the location 4 stars, service 5, and value for money 3. A good place for peace and food, but the luxury category needs improvement.

The banana payasam was especially delicious, and the food in general was really tasty. We were a group of 30 and had a wonderful stay in this beautiful coffee estate. The cottages were well maintained, with spacious, comfortable rooms. There are bicycles to ride around nearby places, plus a swimming pool, indoor games, an open shuttle court, rain dance, and a campfire setup. There are limited activities, but it’s a pleasant, relaxing place for a group or family.

We had such a good time over our 3-day stay that we genuinely missed the place after checking out. The breakfast had tasty options, and we loved the big swimming pool and campfire. They even switched on the rain dance just for us, without requiring a minimum group size. There are also table tennis, carroms, shuttle, and cycling. The reception ladies were so sweet, and Manager Vijayan sir was polite and helpful. The staff were friendly, quick to respond, and management was good. The cottages and rooms were clean and well maintained, surrounded by peaceful coffee plantations. They also gave us a little surprise gift for christmas. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to anyone staying in Chikmagalur 😊

The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the resort works well for families or groups of friends. Coffee Grove Resort is a fantastic pick in Chikkamagaluru, with peaceful surroundings and great amenities that make up for the drive from the city. I’d give the distance 4/5. Highly recommended for the service.
