Drivers and agents should know what to expect here. There’s no restaurant nearby, and food for drivers is served only when the hotel chooses, so you may be left waiting until they decide it’s time. The way driving staff are treated felt very disrespectful. Getting to PMC Lakeshore Resort is also a serious problem. The road is in such poor condition that bringing a vehicle risks damaging its underbody. There’s no dedicated parking either, so we had to leave our vehicle at a neighboring house. The management doesn’t disclose these issues to agents. I wouldn’t book this place if you’re a driver or agent and want to avoid risking your vehicle and being treated poorly.

The food was one of the best meals I’ve had in Kerala. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, and you could tell it had been made with care. The crew and guides were warm and attentive, and they arranged kayaking for us too, which made the stay more adventurous. My partner and I had the whole houseboat to ourselves in Alleppey, which felt like a real treat. I’d wondered if the price was high, but once we were on board it felt worth it. Spending both day and night on the backwaters was so peaceful and memorable. I’d recommend the experience to anyone visiting Alleppey for its comfort, nature, and Kerala hospitality.

The sunsets from the balcony and the jaw-dropping view won us over. The staff were incredible and always ready to help, and this became the best stay of our whole Kerala trip. We asked for customized Bengali food, which was a lot to ask, especially for our parents, but they tried their best to make us happy. I can’t put into words how satisfied we were. If you’re staying nearby, give this resort a try.

Our stay was fantastic, even though I’m not sure why so many reviews are negative. The place is beautiful, the staff respond quickly, and the service is top notch. Great value for money.
