Aman Hotel CST

Once you’ve booked a room, their manner changes, and I’m sure you’ll have a bad experience if you take them at their word. The service was very bad and they had no good manners. I can’t believe a hotel like this exists in Mumbai. I’d say even Railway station toilets are better than Aman hotel.

The staff were good, but the rooms weren’t worth the price and weren’t what the photos showed. They had small beds, Indian toilets and no Western toilets, and cockroaches everywhere. This isn’t a 3-star hotel as advertised. Check the room before you take it.

I was booking for my parents and asked about the stairs, but the receptionist rudely refused to give me any information and told me to come see for myself. The phone number is there so guests can call for details. Whoever answered, whether staff or manager, had no manners. Please get better people to answer the phone.

I confirmed a stay through booking .com, but couldn’t find the hotel even though I was only about 100 meters away, so I called for directions. The man who answered asked how many guests were coming. I said one, as listed in my booking, and after a few more questions he asked what country I was from. I felt that was irrelevant and was offended by the way he asked, especially as I was a girl. When I asked if it was really necessary, he said “wrong number” and hung up. I called back several times, but they kept cutting the calls. I had no other choice but to find somewhere else to stay. The amount is still on hold.
