Hotel Beacon T2

The property itself was good, but the AC made this a horrible stay. It first stopped for around 1 hour 39 minutes on the first night, then failed completely again in the afternoon. With no ventilation or fresh air, the room felt suffocating. After several complaints, we were moved to another room late in the evening, but the same problem came back. The AC didn't work properly through the night, the room became moist and extremely uncomfortable, and we sweated all night. My parents' room had the same AC issue. The unit kept showing “C2,” but even after we complained repeatedly, nobody provided proper help or a solution. It wasn't worth the money and completely ruined our stay. A very disappointing, horrible night.

My wife and I only needed a few hours of rest before a 30-hour international flight, after a 12-hour train journey. Instead, our short 4 to 5-hour stay at T2 Beacon Hotel near Mumbai T2 Airport became one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. We waited almost three hours in the lobby and weren't even offered a glass of water, despite politely asking several times for early check-in. They finally let us check in five minutes before 2 pm. One receptionist spoke rudely, as though doing us a favour, saying, "At 1.55 pm they told, 'we are allowed you early check-in otherwise you supposed to be allowed at 2pm'." I'm 54 and have stayed at countless hotels, but have never encountered such cold behaviour or a lack of basic hospitality. I strongly advise fellow travellers to think again before booking here.

I had a bad experience and didn't find the hotel trustworthy. I booked through Booking.com, and the staff had my card on file, but they refused to charge it and made me pay via UPI despite my clear objection. When a hotel accepts Booking.com reservations and keeps a card on file, I expect it to honor that payment method. Forcing guests to use a particular option is unacceptable and creates unnecessary friction, especially for business travelers. This reflects poor process discipline and raises concerns about transparency. Management should fix it, and travelers should be cautious.

They refused to cancel my booking or refund me despite the serious problems. I travel often and have stayed in budget and premium hotels in several countries, but this has been my worst experience so far. First I was assigned Room 103, where sewage water was leaking from the washroom. After I complained, I was moved to Room 109, but its AC didn't work at all. I told staff several times and waited nearly 4 hours while they kept insisting the AC was working, which clearly wasn't true. They refused to provide a fan as a temporary fix, then asked me to move again, even though earlier they'd said the hotel was fully booked. Their responses were inconsistent and unhelpful. The service was very unprofessional and management was poor. Avoid this place if basic comfort and customer service matter to you.
