There were rats and insects in the room, and I left after just one night even though I’d booked three days. The room had poor maintenance, including the air conditioning, and no ventilation or bathroom exhaust. It was very dusty and wasn’t cleaned properly. Their amenities listed an in-house restaurant, but there isn’t one. After I reported all this, the OYO staff member I spoke to by phone was irresponsible.

This felt more like a lodge than a hotel. The room I’d booked was denied when I arrived, even though I’d called the day before and was told to call on the booking date. I did, and the person said the room was available, then asked me to cancel and check in privately for 2800₹ for 12 hours. I didn’t cancel and said I wanted to see the room first. At the property, the two receptionists were extremely unprofessional. All they could say was an ugly-faced “Sorry sir.” I asked why they hadn’t told me before making me come all the way there. They’d let me arrive and only then said the room wasn’t available. Both had new communication skills, fragile egos, and tried to manipulate the conversation. The reception staff should be fired, or this so-called hotel could soon turn into a loading and boarding place.

We had to check out after one night of a three-night booking. The room was dirty, smelly, poorly maintained, and had insects or possibly a rat. The photos online looked clean and well kept, nothing like the room we got. They showed us another one, but it also smelled and had poor ventilation. OYO’s website said there was a restaurant, but there wasn’t one. The staff didn’t seem bothered when we raised our concerns, and OYO customer care was poorly managed too.

The central location is the only good thing here. The place is run down, dusty from construction, and poorly kept. The lobby carpet was wet from a leak, and there was a constant foul smell. Neither the rooms nor common areas were clean. I booked a non-smoking room, but mine smelled strongly of cigarettes. The cupboards were just open shelves without doors, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the AC barely worked. I asked to move and got a slightly better room, though its door was broken and hard to lock or unlock. The place felt unsafe and unhygienic to me, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
