FabHotel Neelkamal - Chembur

The front desk people were nice, and the staff was really good, but the property itself was a letdown. The area looked very local, and the place was much worse in person than it appeared in the photos. There were bed bugs inside the bed and in its corners, and it didn’t feel clean or hygienic at all. My Gf and I had travelled a lot and were tired, so we ordered food from outside, ate, and rested for a bit. We couldn’t stay more than 2 hrs, though, and moved to another hotel in a different location. It was a real waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone wanting a great experience.

We had a horrible stay. The room smelled so bad that we had to ask for air freshener just to bear it, and the bedsheets weren’t clean. When we asked, they said there was a laundry problem and the sheets weren’t getting cleaned. The rooms didn’t look as clean as they did in the photos, and for the listed price it wasn’t worth staying there. A disappointing experience. Don’t trust those pictures.

Room service was a real challenge, and there were serious hygiene problems in the room. The linens and other usable items were genuinely dirty. I expected a much better experience.

The housekeeping staff did their work brilliantly and were very helpful. Dipa ma'am at reception was also professional and helpful. My official stay in Neelkamal was excellent, and I’ll definitely stay here again.
