Fathima Dormitory

The location is the main drawback. The nearby subway area is known for waterlogging, so rainy days could cause problems. Otherwise, this dormitory is better than the other options around Andheri East, from Andheri station to Jogeshwari station. For just ₹500, you get privacy, A/C, clean sheets, pillow covers, and rugs. The bathrooms are only okay, but still much better than in the other nearby dormitories.

The best part for me is how clean the washroom is, and the bathrooms have both hot and cold water for bathing. The staff are very cooperative and bring things to your bed if you need them. The dormitory manager is humble and gentle. Boys and girls both stay here, and I’d come back whenever I need to. It’s a very nice dormitory.

The place was filthy, full of cigarette butts and tobacco sachets, and the service was terrible. Cockroaches greeted us, while mosquitoes gave us a proper massage. Sleeping there felt like being in a local train or bus compartment.

There are way too many buds in the bed. When I complained, they spoke rudely to me.
