Ginger Mumbai Andheri

The food was very good, and I had a pleasant stay overall. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout, especially at check-in and check-out. Archita, shrushti and sukhu.

I paid ₹20,900 for two days at GINGER – Teli Gali, Andheri East, on a MakeMyTrip booking that described it as a 4-Star property. As a frequent business traveler, I think the listing and the price set expectations the hotel didn’t meet. This is my personal experience, and others may see it differently. The staff were courteous, helpful and well trained, and I’d rate their professionalism at 5 stars. The rooms felt like 3-Star standard, while breakfast was limited and average, closer to 2-Star quality. In my view, the infrastructure, amenities and experience fell short of what I’d expect from a 4-Star hotel at this tariff. It seems more like a good 3-Star business hotel than a premium 4-Star property, and I felt I may have been cheated. Transparency matters, and expectations should match reality. A good fit for a business trip or short stay, with functional room layouts, free Wi-Fi and work desks. Ginger Hotel in Andheri East is a practical, modern place if you want a clean, comfortable visit without fuss. It feels calm and well managed, the staff are friendly, and the location near transit hubs and local eateries makes getting around simple.

The rooms were neater and cleaner than at other Ginger properties I’ve stayed at, and the hotel ambience was great. From arrival through check-out, the stay was fantastic. The dining menu is simple, but the food is delicious. The lobby was crowded when I arrived, and reception struggled a little with the rush. Mr. Shubrab (GLP Manager) stepped in and handled things gently and professionally, turning the experience around. The staff are generally helpful and thoughtful. Shubrab, Laxmi, Diksha, Preeti, and Riya deserve a big salute for their service. Riya, the restaurant host who took my order, was energetic and added to the positive feel. Peak-hour check-in and crowd management could be better at the start. Once Mr. Shubrab sorted things out, everything else was perfect. Highly recommended. Of all the Ginger properties I’ve stayed in, this one is the best by far.
