Golden Chariot The Boutique Hotel, Andheri

I booked because it was near the airport, with a flight the next day that was about 14 hours away. I couldn't even sleep. The room, sheet, and blanket all smelled, and it seemed they weren't changed after guests left. The flush didn't work either. A complete waste of money. It wasn't even worth one star, and I wouldn't recommend anyone book this awful property. I'd ask agoda to stop listing places like this.

The owner and cleaning guy responded to the cockroaches by saying, “wo toh harr room mai hai, kya problem hai”. The room was dirty, and when we asked to have it cleaned, they refused. The staff were very rude, and the price was far too high for what we experienced. We had a terrible time.

The room smelled strongly of smoke even though I had requested a non-smoking one. The bed sheet was dirty, the bed wasn't made properly, and the free WiFi advertised on the hotel's website wasn't available when I asked for the password. The photos on the site were misleading, and staff said they had been taken in 2008. I asked for a refund after the bad experience with the hotel and Agoda.com, but was offered only 700 rupees against my 5000-rupee payment. They seem more interested in making a quick buck than providing decent service. I strongly advise against booking this hotel or using Agoda.com.

The rooms were extremely dirty and badly maintained, and there was garbage everywhere in front of the hotel. The place is overpriced, and the photos are old, taken with proper planning. It felt like a fraud. I'm uploading a picture of their executive room so you can imagine what the normal room is like. I shifted hotels within an hour. Please be careful.
