OYO 10217 Hotel Golden Palms

The pictures were misleading. The rooms looked nothing like them, and seemed to be photos taken from different hotels.

We arrived for our vacation and found out our advance reservation had been cancelled, with no warning or explanation. My family and I were left scrambling for somewhere to stay, which caused a lot of stress and spoiled the first day of the trip. When we asked Hotel Golden Palms what had happened, the staff gave no help or compensation and weren’t apologetic. The lack of communication and responsibility was shocking. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve had, and I’d advise booking elsewhere.

The hygiene was awful. The place was filthy, and the bedsheets seemed to be reused after previous guests left. There wasn’t even water in the room. The receptionist, Arshad, was rude and unhelpful, and the staff were hard to reach. I checked out early because it was unbearable. MakeMyTrip also hasn’t been able to resolve the issue despite repeated attempts. Avoid Golden Palms Hotel.

There’s no restaurant, so you need to eat outside or ask the staff to bring food for you. The rooms are spacious and good, right beside the main road, and the staff are very good.
