We had to book Hotel Alfa Heritage because other nearby hotels were full, and a family member was hospitalised at Masina Hospital. That left us with a very poor stay, and the price wasn't worth it. Only the AC worked properly. The rooms didn't match the website photos, and of the six rooms, just one had a window. The rest were cramped and poorly ventilated. There was a constant bad smell, cockroaches and small bugs on the bed, and the bathrooms were badly maintained. We booked for three people but got only two small, torn towels. Even after room service, there were no clean replacements. There was no mobile reception in the rooms. The WiFi kept disconnecting and was barely usable. Staff didn't act on our repeated complaints. The place was run by three boys who played loud reels day and night, disturbing guests. There was no basic hygiene or professionalism, and no value for money. I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially for work.

The room and location were good. From reception to housekeeping, the staff were friendly, attentive, and very capable. Cleaning was thorough and consistent, and the comfortable, spotless stay really stood out.

Being close to Byculla station was the best thing about this hotel. We could easily get to meat dishes at Gloria Restaurant and Persian Darbar. We stayed in room #22, and the online promises didn't match what we found. This might work if you urgently need a place in that area, but be ready for a lot of hassles. The young team seemed untrained, and service lacked care and professionalism. Check your mobile signal before taking a room. WiFi was practically nonexistent, and staff noise late at night made rooms near reception a poor choice. We had several maintenance problems: the AC leaked and didn't cool well unless set to an unreasonably low 20°C, the shower was faulty, and the towels were poor. Room cleaning and towel changes didn't happen on their own. We had to ask repeatedly, and even leaving used towels on the floor might be the only way to get fresh ones. There were also some cockroaches, so we took care with food and personal belongings. They required at least a day's payment upfront in cash or GPay, and getting a receipt was essential. We could negotiate the rate and paid ₹2250 a night for three people. Cleaning had to be requested every other day, since otherwise it wasn't done.

We slept really well in the comfortable bed, and our room was very clean and well looked after. The staff were friendly with me, too. The location was perfect, near plenty of attractions and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd gladly recommend the hotel.

I paid 3000 Rs for this family stay, which felt far too expensive. The room looked like the photo, but it was actually in a shed outside on the ground floor, with rats running around. At night they ran over the roof and made noise again and again, so I couldn't sleep. This place didn't feel safe at all, regardless of the charge, and I wouldn't recommend it. The good reviews all seem fake. The AC leaked water from above, and the small fans shown in the picture were noisy.
