Hotel Amar Residency

The staff were courteous, cooperative, and ready to help, which made things easier for people visiting the hospital who need a stress-free stay. Amar Residency is conveniently located near Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Laxmi Industrial Estate, especially for patients, families, or professionals working nearby. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

It was a pleasure staying in their room and the value was great. The staff and manager were polite and good. Communication was difficult, though, because most room attendants didn’t speak or understand English. They should train them for future foreign guests.

I’d never recommend this hotel after such a frustrating stay. Some rooms had AC that didn’t work, and my sheets, pillows, bedroom slippers, soap and other items hadn’t been changed since the previous customer. We were also denied rooms that had been confirmed months earlier, and there was no hot water. Staff had to take our bucket to fill it and bring it back, which felt very unsafe, especially for late travellers. One room had a handle that only worked from outside, so if the latch caught while you were inside, you couldn’t open the door unless someone outside pushed the handle to loosen it. The management was the poorest I’ve ever encountered.

I recommend staying away from this hotel and never booking a room. We were given room 101 even though 103 was available. It had a broken terrace wall, no AC service, and felt suffocating, so the children couldn’t sleep well. Check-in was delayed, the room was dirty, and there was no hot water. When we complained, the staff acted as if it were our problem. Towels and other complimentary items weren’t provided until we asked, and the phone didn’t work. I booked through Goibibo with a discounted offer, but the hotel admin refused to give us a room or start check-in until the issue was discussed with Goibibo support. The hotel clearly doesn’t care about guest satisfaction.
