Hotel Amber Suite

We arrived around 1 AM, had already paid, and needed a place urgently, so we didn’t argue much. A mountain of market waste was dumped right at the entrance, leaving barely any space to walk, and the area smelled awful. When we asked why, the manager said, "Ye Mumbai hai, idhar kisiko koi kuch puchne nahi jata". The manager then refused to let three of us stay in one room, even though MakeMyTrip had charged extra for the additional person. He said, "ap log mmt ko call karke bolo, muje kya he lena dena hai" and insisted we book another room. When we asked to see the rooms, his tone changed. The room was very small and cramped, but one could fit three people. At first he said, "ap log reh he nahi paoge ek kamre mei". After seeing the room, he said, "haan idhar adjust kar sakhte hai, mai bhul he Gaya ye wala room thoda bada hai". The whole experience was awful. Don’t book here!

The manager and reception staff were rude and didn’t know how to treat customers. The service was bad, and the bedsheet and pillow were dirty. The hotel is in a slum area that didn’t feel safe for tourists.

We’d stayed here once before, but the second visit was a terrible experience. After we checked in, they turned off the electricity. One staff member started arguing and came into the room without asking. As a girl, I felt really uncomfortable with the way they spoke to me. There was no cooperation or respect from the staff, and the service was awful for the locality. I strongly recommend that people avoid this place.

The rooms are basic and very small. The hotel is on a crowded road near Chakala metro station.
