OYO 12043 Hotel Crystal Crown

It’s very close to the international airport and in a good location, but the rooms are quite cramped. The place is like a service apartment, and the hotel is hard to spot in passing traffic. Staff service is good and they keep the rooms clean. Fine for singles, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

The TV and AC worked, and the room I had included a window. The bathroom had only a 5rs soap, nothing else. The hotel itself is good compared with others in the same Mumbai budget, but payment and check in were a problem. They won’t let you pay through OYO and will decline the booking if you do, so you have to arrive and pay at the hotel. They have guest rules that differ from OYO’s. When we got there, 3-4 other groups were sitting there because they weren’t allowed to check in. Local IDs aren’t accepted. Call them before paying a penny, since they won’t refund you, and OYO customer service won’t help either. You could try Zostel, 400m away. It has private rooms at a slightly higher price and is a good place.

It smelled very bad and was badly managed, with beer bottles even left in my room drawers. Don’t be fooled by the name. This is a very dirty hotel, listed on OYO as "Capital O 12043 Hotel Konak". Definitely not for families.

The staff looked out for us throughout our friends’ vacation, and we felt safe and secure staying at Hotel Crystal Crown. We had a great time and loved the property. All the staff went well beyond what was expected to make sure we were comfortable through the whole ordeal. We appreciated everything they did. Excellent service 😊
