Hotel Golden Hyatt Inn

I didn't feel there was any safety here. Couples and families should avoid this place. If you're traveling alone, you could stay, but don't take the risk.

The location is excellent, but the cleanliness, amenities, and safety have serious problems. Staff were rude and unhelpful, and even charged for basic things like water. In the first room, the bathroom was right beside the kitchen. Its see-through ventilator meant someone in the hotel kitchen could clearly see what was happening inside, so we complained and asked to move. The manager was dismissive and unprofessional, and gave flimsy excuses for the setup. They eventually moved us, but the new room had another safety concern: an extra door was locked from the other side and couldn't be opened from within, so someone might be able to enter through it. The property is in deplorable condition and feels like a significant safety risk, particularly for women.

We took a quad occupancy room at Hotel golden this January 2024 when we visited mumbai for kgafesr. After a hard dayz work at the festival, we were expecting little, since our previous stay nearby at Bentleys had left us without decent sleep because the beds were so hard. This time we were pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were really comfortable, and the staff felt like family. They didn't have much cutlery, but they were always keen to help and bring chai, omelette, or shikanji. We'll definitely stay again.

The rooms have a strong, pungent perfume smell that leaves me feeling fatigued. The manager seems very irresponsible and perhaps not well educated, which may be why his speech is so hesitant. Nobody here has a cooperative attitude. People like us end up caught in their clutches and paying hefty rent, even though better lodges and hotels nearby offer the best price.
