Hotel Golden Residency

It’s a decent budget hotel, but the rooms were a bit dirty. The floor was clean, though there were stains on the walls, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the tiny, dirty bathroom. The toilet stopped working near the end of our stay. We asked them to fix it on the evening of our last night, and they said they would, but no one came.

The manager and staff were very cordial, sincere and helpful. This is a budget hotel for families, with hospitals, markets, shopping malls and restaurants nearby. CS International Airport and Juhu sea beach are also very close. I’d recommend it to people coming to Mumbai for...

My husband and I stayed here for seven weeks while I was having treatment at Nanavati Max. It’s an affordable option for that, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They’re the place’s best asset. Jahir is a kind, conscientious and fair manager. I’d suggest the owner clean up the back area and paint the wall to make it more welcoming.

The room was cramped, with barely enough space to walk around. The window wouldn’t open, very little light came in, and half the bathroom taps had no water. The AC was leaking too. The location felt very shady and the service wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend it.
