Hotel Heritage

The neighborhood felt sketchy and smelled bad, and my wife felt so unsafe that she wanted to find another hotel after just a couple of hours. Inside, the bathroom was tiny, covered in black mold, and full of drain flies. There was no ventilation, the rooms felt suffocating, and they constantly smelled. We also found two large roaches, one on each of two separate nights. The building looks decent from outside, but the rooms are trashed and filthy. I picked it for the price, the photos, and its location near the embassy. Don't be fooled by those pictures, they don't show what the place is really like. I wouldn't stay again even if they offered free nights. Save your money and stay far away.

The bathrooms were dirty, and the whole place was dirty both inside and out. It was very hot in the hallways, with no air conditioning there. There's no elevator, so it isn't accessible for people with mobility needs. Guests aren't allowed to have visitors, and unmarried couples can't stay together in one room. We also weren't allowed to use the TV's HDMI port to plug anything in.

The reception staff were good, but the food and beverage staff were impolite and didn't speak to guests properly. Our breakfast arrived cold, and when we asked them to heat it up, they weren't willing to.

The staff were rude, unhelpful, and careless when we raised problems. The room smelled awful, with damp walls that made it feel unhygienic and unsafe, and the AC kept leaking water. The bathroom was filthy and smelled disgusting too. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and a horrible experience. Stay away if you care about your money and peace of mind.
