For a proper hearty non-veg meal, Hotel Rahat in Grant Road is a real old-school Mumbai find. I loved the food, especially the mutton keema and bheja fry. Both were cooked just right, with authentic flavour and a good level of spice. Definitely recommend it.

The whole experience was disappointing. Suraj, one of the staff, spoke in a very unprofessional way and showed no manners. When I raised concerns, they weren't handled properly.

The metro is right outside, so getting around is easy. The rooms were tidy and clean, and the hotel looks just like it does in the pictures.

Getting around Mumbai was easy, with trains, buses and taxis all nearby. The management was polite, the staff responded promptly, and the food was good and very reasonably priced. My room was affordable, neat and clean during my stay from 15th January to 22nd January. My one complaint is that there was no bed tea early in the morning, which is why I took off a star for service.
