Hotel Sea View

I rarely complain, but after three nights here I had to warn people. I've stayed in lots of budget places, and this was the worst. I felt dirty the whole time: the linens were dirty, and the towel felt like sandpaper. The room was up 59 steps, with no elevator. That wasn't a big deal for me, though it could be for someone else. There was no hot water, even though it ran, and the TV didn't work beyond one station after a desk guy tried to fix it. He acted like that was fine. Then the front desk guy took my AC remote because another room needed it. He said the whole hotel had only one remote. I never got it back, and the AC barely ran. The worst part was coming back last night to find my door unlocked. The front desk gave no explanation and tried to blame me, saying I hadn't locked it. That's complete BS. I'd bought expensive jewelry for my wife and hid it because I didn't trust them. I don't believe anything was stolen, but I felt completely violated. There are lots of places to stay around here. Any of them would be a better choice.

I was in Mumbai for just one night, and now I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The bathroom had insects, and the pot, bucket, and sink were dirty. The manager overcharged for everything, and when I refused, they started shouting. Don't book this hotel at any cost unless you want to get scammed.

There was no view of the sea at all, just trees in the way. The building felt abandoned, with no lift, and the hotel is on the second floor. The reception is close to the rooms, so you can hear people talking outside all the time. Men were shouting at 1 a.m., which scared me and my sister. The washroom was tiny and had earthworms in it. There was nowhere to put things like hand wash except on the flush tank. The hand wash bottle was empty, and I had to ask for soap and a towel. Nothing else was provided. There was no tea, coffee, water, or kettle. When I asked for water, they charged more than the MRP and took two or three reminders to bring it. The drawers had something sticky inside, so we couldn't use them. The TV was just for show and wouldn't even turn on. Not recommended at all. Be safe!

The service was awful, and the staff were very rude. They didn't provide a towel or water. The rooms are tiny, though the location is good and close to gate way of India. Only book this place in an emergency.
