We changed rooms three times, and every one was crawling with cockroaches. We even came back once to find one on our bed. There was nowhere to put our things except on the floor, and we worried the roaches would get into our stuff. On top of that, every room had dirty sheets with other people's hair. The whole place was worn out and unclean, the rooms were tiny, and our first was about 6 sq m. The hotel is above the train station, with no sound insulation at all. It felt like the windows were open and we were right on the station, even at night. The smell throughout was nasty. Staff did help move us between rooms, but we left before our booking ended and found somewhere else. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in after traveling all over Asia. It's a joke.

We came, saw the dirty floors, and cancelled straight away, probably losing a lot of money. The pillows were covered in curry stains, there was hair in the bed, and the toilet flush didn't work properly. The hallway was full of dirty bedsheds! At reception, the guys didn't even help me open the door while I was carrying two suitcases on my own.

I stayed in August, though only about five hours before checking out and moving to another hotel. I didn't get a refund. The rooms didn't match the deceptive photos: the walls were marked, there were bed bugs, tissues in the air-conditioning, and the toilet seat was all over the place. Also, although the listing showed Hotel skylink, it was actually operating under another name, Hotel imperial. The location wasn't great either. Check your room before paying. I can't recommend this place. Pay a bit more and don't ruin your holiday.

The room is tiny and much smaller than the photos suggest, and the price is high for the amenities. Staff were the one bright spot: polite, responsive and well mannered.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is close to Byculla railway station, the room was clean, and staff were good. Service is available around the clock, and hot water was there whenever we needed it.
