Hotel West Blue

The trouble started when we arrived at 7:30 AM for a 10 AM meeting and asked to check in early. The receptionist said it would cost an extra 300 INR per hour, while the normal check-in time was 12:00PM. We left our luggage at reception and asked them to put it in the room and call us, but when we got back that evening it was still there. The receptionist said they put luggage in front of the customer, which showed poor communication between the two receptionists. When I said I'd post a bad review, he told me to do whatever I wanted and that he didn't care. Service and staff were horrible, and the room was only okay. The AC swing flap was broken; when I reported it, the staff member said the AC was cooling, so what was the problem if the swing wasn't working? Breakfast is served only once even if you select complimentary breakfast, and the food quality wasn't good. There's no separate breakfast area, they serve it in the room. Value for money is zero. Don't go to this hotel, even if you're travelling solo.

The stay was average, whether I was by myself or with friends. The room cleanliness could be better, breakfast wasn't good, and there was an unpleasant smell in the lobby.

The rooms are very small, the linens weren't clean and smelled bad, and the pillows smelled too. The AC and TV weren't working, and they refused to serve breakfast at 9:45am. Breakfast isn't worth choosing anyway. They also charged ₹10 above the MRP for a water bottle. Not recommended at all.

We picked this hotel because it was close to our office, but the upkeep was poor. The sheets were dirty, there were lots of mosquitoes in the room, and shampoo and conditioner weren't provided. Breakfast was terrible, and the food arranged through nearby restaurants was often cold and tasted bad. There's no canteen or dining room on site. I also found out from other staff staying there at the same time that people in the same room category were charged different rates. I won't stay here again.
