Maxxvalue Hotel MIDC

The way the staff handled both our arrival and an injury made this an appalling stay at MaxxValue. I’ve stayed at several similarly priced hotels in MIDC, and this was the worst of them. We had booked through Cleartrip and traveled all the way from Bengaluru. At arrival, we were told the hotel wasn’t “couple friendly,” a restriction buried in the fine print. If it mattered that much, they should have made it clear beforehand, gathered guest details, or called to confirm. They said a “server issue” meant they didn’t get our contact numbers from Cleartrip. That sounds like their operational problem being passed on to guests. The manager’s casual suggestion was to cancel, with no concern about where we’d go at 10 PM after a 20-hour journey. Then I had a serious accident just outside the hotel. Reception staff, particularly Rita, were more concerned that the auto rickshaw carrying an injured guest stay away from the entrance than with helping. There was no empathy, assistance, guidance about nearby hospitals, or follow-up on the injured guest’s condition. Even when we asked for an ice pack, they said it would come shortly, but it never did. At checkout, Rita knew one guest was on bed rest because of the injury, yet argued about the checkout time with unnecessary aggression and no flexibility or basic courtesy. It felt like dealing with a cheap highway-side lodge, not a professional hotel. The place badly lacked accountability, professionalism, and human decency. I strongly advise others to avoid it.
