Mayura Aureole Co-living - Hostel

The reception team made check-in and my stay really smooth. The boys were polite, friendly, helpful, and quick at their work. Truly professional, and highly recommended.

It’s a nice, affordable place near NESCO and Goregaon, with accommodation for both men and women. The pods have sufficiently large beds and enough surrounding space. I’ve stayed in other dorms with cramped beds, but that wasn’t an issue at Mayura Aerole. If you’re going to Nesco and want somewhere within walking distance, this is a good option.

Hi Management, Nikhil and Amit, I've stayed at Mayura regularly for years, so it was really disappointing to find the place in such poor shape on my visit from 8th Feb to 14th Feb. I was given the left-side bed space in Room 10, and the standards felt close to zero. The biggest problem was hygiene. There were cockroaches in the toilet area, and several times I found human waste left un-flushed on the toilet seats. The AC ducts were thick with dust and seemed not to have been cleaned in a long time. The air quality affected my health, and I was sick by the time I left. At night, some vents didn't work properly, so cooling was uneven and parts of the room felt damp, making it hard to sleep. Many electrical switches also didn't work. There were people smoking in the toilets, which made them difficult for others to use. Some guests were visibly ill and coughing constantly, with no measures in place to limit the risk of spreading illness. I also had a repeated problem with a guest leaving used clothes on the steps up to my bed. The attendants, Rajkumar and Ashish, kindly moved them more than once, but the guest kept putting them back and eventually argued with me and became abusive. I tried to keep things professional and asked for help. How was I supposed to climb to the upper bed space without touching the clothes or putting my foot on them? The steps are for climbing, not drying clothes. Ashish, the caretaker, then asked me to move to another bed space instead of properly addressing it, but the tenant below that spot had underwear drying on the steps too. I would have had to move all my belongings and bedding after settling in, even though I'd already raised the issue three times. That was unreasonable and extremely frustrating. The accommodation has declined a lot, which is upsetting after years of using it. I haven't posted about this on social media or taken it to the partners, Nikhil Samani and Amit Samani, yet, but I'm close to escalating it if these problems aren't addressed. I suggest providing something like this for guests to keep used clothes in. Please take immediate corrective action to restore the standards Mayura used to be known for, and let me know what steps are being taken.

A nice place, though parking is the one concern. Check on that before you visit.
