Hotel Midtown Pritam

The property may be good, but indifferent service and poor coordination have made our stay deeply disappointing. We’re here with family for three days, using two rooms, after recommendations from frequent travelers. With two days still to go, the experience has already been far from satisfactory. When we arrived late after getting held up in traffic, we had informed reception and asked them to set aside breakfast for four. The staff seemed unaware and asked each other who had told the dining team. No one made an effort to accommodate us. Earlier, we’d asked for breakfast slightly before the usual 8 AM opening so we could visit Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, but they bluntly refused, citing staff constraints. Even getting bath towels took nearly 20 minutes and two reminders. The hotel needs better service and communication.

I booked three rooms for April 16-17, 2026, at 10k per room. For that price, the rooms were only just liveable, and the hotel needs better maintenance and upkeep. I wouldn’t price them above 4-5k. At 11:30 pm, one room’s AC wasn’t working. I complained, and they said they couldn’t guarantee the level of cooling I expected. They looked for another room, but it took four rooms before we found one with decent cooling that seemed to work. The whole search took an hour. That’s pretty basic for a hotel charging 10k a night. A terrible experience, and I won’t return.

The breakfast restaurant staff don’t serve with a smile. Otherwise, everyone was good, including the reception staff, G M Mr joshi, and one senior bell boy. The hotel is well maintained for an older property in dadar.

Renovations are underway at the hotel, but we’d been told about them beforehand and didn’t notice any construction during our stay, so they weren’t disruptive. The room was clean, the bathroom looked well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good. The selection was small, but everything was made fresh after we ordered. The restaurant itself felt a bit uncomfortable and outdated. Overall, a pleasant stay for the price.
