My friends and I were in town shopping for our wedding and didn’t properly inspect the hotel. The manager was convincing and asked us for an advance, which we paid. He never showed up again, and they refused to return the money. They even blocked the person who asked for the refund. The rooms were extremely small, and there was no water. They promised a bucket for us to use, but it wasn’t adequate.

We booked through Booking.com for Rs. 24,000, but on arrival NADIM TIGER RESIDENCY suddenly said the price was Rs. 30,000. After we argued, they “agreed” to Rs. 27,000 as if they were doing us a favor. Then, one day before checkout, they demanded another Rs. 5,000, claiming it was Booking.com’s commission and that we had to pay it. The staff were unprofessional and showed no respect for guests. It felt like they take advantage of travelers once they’ve checked in and have little choice but to pay. I’ve never felt this badly cheated by a hotel. Please avoid this place, there are plenty of honest hotels nearby, and these people could ruin your trip and mood.

Although the room looked shiny and new, it had no window, ventilation, or exhaust, and neither did the bathroom. There’s a grill in the upper part of the bathroom door, so the smell goes into the room. The AC smelled of fungus and didn’t seem clean. The whole room felt humid and sticky, with a stale odor. The staff refused to refund me when I asked to check out one day early. You can find better rooms nearby for a better price. I won’t book this hotel again.

The area was convenient, with food and other facilities nearby. That was the only positive for us. We were very unhappy with the service and overall stay, which didn’t meet basic cleanliness or service standards. We booked three nights through Booking.com at ₹1499 plus ₹74.50 per day in taxes and charges, since it was cheaper than other hotels. At arrival, the owner charged an extra ₹700, saying GST wasn’t included, though that hadn’t been clearly stated when booking. The owner also cancelled the price listed on the booking.com website, which made it easy for us to be fooled. The rooms were extremely compact and smelled unpleasant. The toiletries, coffee, and sugar sachets were expired. Despite the “No Smoking” amenity listing, there was a strong smoke smell throughout. The bedsheets, pillow covers, and liners smelled terrible, suggesting poor hygiene. None of the listed amenities were provided, and there was visible fungus inside the kettle, which raised serious health concerns. The AC was switched off from downstairs and wouldn’t be turned back on unless we shouted from our room. Travelers should confirm all charges beforehand and be cautious about booking. This isn’t a fake review, this is what we experienced. If you want to check our booking, it was for 15-18 Jan 2026.
