Parking was a major problem, and the kitchen was shabby, with a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. During my short stay at Dev Shelters, the caretaker was painfully careless about basic things like drinking water and a decent breakfast. We had to push him to get up and make breakfast, which he eventually did at 11 am. He was no help with directions to nearby places or restaurants either. For a serviced apartment in upscale Mumbai, this place lacked basic services.

The building is 10 years old, with a single-level parking lot underneath. Security guards wear uniforms, and CCTV monitors the premises. It's in the center of Orlem, on Grotto lane, across from Linnet Apartments and beside citizen bank on Marve road. Across the road is Orlem church(lourdes church), which is also St Anne's school. This is the most prime location in Malad to stay.

Service was very, very bad, and I wasn't satisfied at all. The caretaker would agree to give food, but denied everything else we asked for. We asked to have the room cleaned, and he made an excuse that he needed to cook. There was no extra blanket or pillow available, and on the second day he hadn't made the bed ready for the three people we booked the room for. Zero stars out of five.
