The Dadar Sea Deck next door is popular with locals and gives you a feel for everyday life. It’s also easy to get to central Mumbai sights and places away from the crowds from here. The Kin has comfortable, attractive rooms and a spacious bathroom, with interiors inspired by European boutique hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant serves interesting international food. I’d highly recommend this boutique hotel if you’re looking for a high-quality stay in Mumbai.

We loved wandering around the neighborhood, especially stopping at the little burger hut right next door for chai and a great chat with the owner. The hotel’s in a lovely part of town, by the bay and roughly halfway between north and south Mumbai. It’s stylish and comfortable, the staff are helpful, and the restaurant has an impressive menu with tasty food. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owner and manager, Kapoor, made our stay at Kin. We arrived stressed and tired after a long airport stay caused by some issues, and had a few things to sort out before a wedding. Kapoor spent a lot of time helping us and went above and beyond. His warmth and kindness stayed with us through the rest of our India trip. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable, and getting there from the airport was easy. I couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

After visiting Mumbai for business over the past few years, we’ve found The Kin Hotel to be a breath of fresh air. The service is brilliant, the hotel is stunning, and the location is great. Our first stay was perfect, and it’s now our go-to in this part of India.

We stayed in the corner suite, room 101. The design was beautiful, but the experience was only okay. We could hear dogs barking all night because the soundproofing wasn’t good. Hot water was an issue in room 101 only.
