The Westin Mumbai Garden City

The hotel is well positioned between the airport and Mumbai’s main areas, and it’s incredibly clean with a calming atmosphere. From the outset, service across the team was fantastic, with everyone willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. The gym, pool, and exec lounge are excellent. Food options cater to all tastes, and the staff are very conscientious about helping you make the most of them. Small touches stood out too, like remembering your name and situation. The cleaners’ effort deserves five stars as well. I’d happily stay here again.

In October 2024 I came to Mumbai for an important meeting and had booked a room at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. I became extremely unwell just after landing and had to go straight to the hotel. The team arranged an early check-in without hesitation and quickly helped organize a doctor. Their care, quick response, and genuine concern made a real difference, and they made sure I was comfortable and looked after until checkout. I especially want to thank Ms.Chandni Malhotra and Ms.Teyasha Kundu for their kindness, professionalism, and personal attention at a difficult time. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to record how much their support meant to me. It was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you for setting such a high standard in hospitality.

The main issue during my pleasant and comfortable stay at The Westin Garden City Mumbai was the lifts. The property has around 32 floors, including offices and hotel floors, and waits can get quite long, especially in the lobby. Standing there for so long can become uncomfortable and a little embarrassing. On upper floors, the displays only show whether a lift is going up or down. They don’t show its current floor, so it’s hard to tell how long it’ll take to arrive or go downstairs. More lifts or real-time floor displays, especially upstairs, would make things clearer and more comfortable for guests. Otherwise, the atmosphere was calm and refined, in keeping with the Westin brand. The property is elegant and well maintained, with a reassuring sense of quality and professionalism. Staff were courteous, polite, and supportive; things went smoothly and respectfully from arrival to departure, and service was mostly as expected. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well organized, while the shared spaces and dining areas were tidy and inviting. Apart from the lift issue, I was satisfied with the experience.

Guests will find the signature Westin comfort, strong cleanliness standards, and striking city views. Staff are attentive, courteous, and professional, making the experience welcoming and smooth. Dining is another strong point, with good-quality food, varied cuisines, and a refined setting. The hotel’s location, facilities, and dependable Westin service make it stand out among Mumbai’s luxury hotels. For anyone looking for a five-star stay focused on comfort, quality, and good service, it’s highly recommended.
