Green Tea Estate Bungalow

The bungalow's setting in a lush green estate was the best part. It felt private and peaceful. But the beds and curtains were dirty, insects were everywhere, and the place looked as if nobody had stayed there in a while. The person in charge had repeatedly asked for the advance upfront because it was peak season. We raised the cleanliness issues and were told it would be cleaned while we were out, but nothing had changed when we got back. The bathroom was the worst part: the toilet doors and flushes were broken and didn't work properly. Wi-Fi was said to be fixed, but never worked during our stay, and constant power cuts caused more inconvenience. We found the place on Booking.com and took a chance even though it wasn't listed elsewhere or on Google. I added it to Google myself because I don't want others to have the same disappointment. With proper maintenance and more honest management, it could be nice. I hope the owner takes the feedback seriously and improves things for future guests.

The caretaker didn't respond or give proper help, and we had no Wi-Fi, reliable power backup, or access to essentials like water. The bungalow wasn't clean as the website showed. It was dusty, poorly maintained, and insects were roaming around. We stayed for a one-day visit and found the experience very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it for a family or friends, and would suggest avoiding the property.

A great place to stay while visiting Munnar.

A peaceful, private spot in a tea estate, just right for a rejuvenating getaway ❤️❤️
