Green Trees Resort

Krishna gave visitors a warm welcome and was especially friendly. The staff and manager provided extraordinary service, and Krishna made sure we had whatever we needed. A safe, fine resort with a great atmosphere in the rooms, suitable for couples and families staying in munnar.

We really enjoyed the pool, and the food was high quality. The resort sits on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the greenery around it. Staff were consistently courteous and attentive. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Geogy Thomas, the property’s Managing Director, who was gracious and personable.

Green Trees Hotel was a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. The rooms were clean, the atmosphere peaceful, and the staff helpful throughout. I had a really pleasant experience.

The location was great and the pool view was stunning, and the receptionist welcomed us warmly. I booked this hotel for a family vacation based on its Booking.com photos, but the Double Deluxe rooms we were given were disappointing. It cost 6500 per 4 pax per day, and felt like a waste of money. One room hadn’t been cleaned and smelled so bad that, after putting up with it for hours, I called housekeeping late at night just to ask them to spray room freshener. The bedsheets were stained and didn’t seem properly washed. There were spiders in the rooms, so we had to hunt and kill them to get a peaceful night’s sleep. We asked for water bottles but weren’t given any. The washrooms had no toiletries, except shampoo and conditioner in the other room. Some lights weren’t working, and although they promised to send a technician after we complained, they still hadn’t been fixed by the time we left. I wanted to raise this with the host, but they were always surrounded by room boys who kept smiling, and it was our first day of the trip. I didn’t want to spoil anyone’s mood, so I couldn’t bring myself to complain. This beautiful place needs proper maintenance and management. There’s a clear management issue that needs attention as soon as possible.
