Jays Inn

For a budget stay right in the center of town, this is a good choice. The staff are kind and deal with concerns quickly. Many thanks to Deepak for the extra support that made the trip special. If you want food included with your accommodation, look elsewhere, as they don't offer that. Otherwise, a good option.

We enjoyed staying at Jays Inn. The rooms were good, had all the amenities, and came at a reasonable price. It's centrally located in Munnar, near the taxi stand, with both the market and stand an easy walk away. Rajasthani Bhojanalya Shree Mahaveer Bhojanalya is also close by on foot, and serves tasty Rajasthani food.

The stay was stressful and humiliating, and wasn't worth a single rupee. Requests were overlooked, replies were rude, and nobody took responsibility for mistakes. Housekeeping and room service were careless and slow, with no apology. When we raised concerns, staff got defensive instead of fixing anything, and the whole experience felt like guests were a burden. From the moment we arrived, the staff were arrogant, openly disrespectful, and extremely rude. There was attitude and raised voices instead of basic courtesy. This was a complete service failure and showed no professionalism. I can't recommend this place at all. Management needs to address the arrogant culture and train staff in basic decency. Not recommended, 101%.

The location was the best part of my stay at Jayss Inn. It's close to many of Munnar's popular sights, including Echo Point and Top Station, and makes a convenient base for scenic drives through the tea plantations. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were polite, quick to respond, and willing to help with questions or other needs. For budget accommodation that keeps up its cleanliness and service, I'd recommend it. Sightseeing is easy from here without stretching your budget.
