The surroundings give the property potential, but poor management, misleading tagging, and maintenance issues ruined my stay. Rangers Hotel is over 30 km from Munnar town, so labeling it under “Munnar” in search results misleads travelers planning sightseeing and local travel. The self-claimed manager/receptionist was very arrogant and showed little understanding of basic hospitality or hotel standards. Guest handling was poor and unprofessional. The room categories also don't make sense: the so-called “Suite Room” is more cramped and less comfortable than the Junior Suite. The food was decent, but breakfast and dinner had very limited options. The TV and telephone in the room didn't work, and the drinking water quality was poor. It seemed the RO plant filters urgently needed replacing.

It's right in Adimali town center, though Munnar and its sightseeing and activities are 30 km away. The nearest activity is flora and fauna echopark, about 11 km from the hotel. The staff communicated well and were helpful, and they have a nice restaurant with a good variety of food. The rooms were much better than we expected. It's a really nice hotel with good assistance.

The South Indian breakfast was a real highlight, and the restaurant was good value too. It’s affordable, with nice hospitality, and being a little away from Munnar’s peak traffic made the stay even better. 👌

The food was delicious, and the staff were polite and helpful the whole time. Our room was clean and looked after well. We had a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a nice place with great food.

I came across this place by chance while riding down from Munnar and decided to stop for the night. The staff welcomed me warmly, were considerate, and got me what I needed quickly. A very good stay for the price, definitely bang for the buck.
