I've stayed at Lumino Highrange, Munnar, regularly for several years and have sent friends, relatives, and other travelers there. This time, I left feeling so dissatisfied that I won't stay there or recommend it again. My booking was from 24th May to 26th May. I know checkout was at 11:00 AM. I got back around 3:00-3:30 PM, packed my things straight away, and left. Staff said I had to pay another ₹2,000. I was willing to discuss it and ask for some consideration as a long-time customer. The amount itself wasn't what upset me. A staff member spoke rudely and arrogantly, raised his voice, and was aggressive instead of explaining things professionally. I expected basic courtesy and respect after staying there many times and referring guests over the years. I paid, but left very unhappy. I'm asking the owner or management to look into the incident and make sure guests, including loyal customers, are treated respectfully. Please contact me and address this. My name is Sathish, and my details can be checked in the guest registration records. If management doesn't respond within 10 days, I'll consider posting my full account publicly on social media, including Instagram, with details and evidence about what happened. I don't want to damage the hotel's reputation. I want to help make sure other guests don't experience this treatment.

Getting around was easy, with public transport and the town centre nearby, and we had a worry-free stay. The room was clean and tidy, housekeeping was good, and WiFi, room service, and parking were useful. Staff were always ready to help and service was prompt. Great value for money.👍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

The staff were rude and unprofessional, and their dismissive, disrespectful manner made the stay feel unwelcoming. Cleanliness was just as disappointing: my room was unclean and poorly maintained, which I wouldn't expect from a place presented as a high-range property. It doesn't meet basic standards for service or cleanliness, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable stay in Munnar.

There was little peace here: people shouted until midnight and again early in the morning, and an outside vendor knocked on doors at 7 a.m. to sell coffee. The location was terrible, the room and towels were dirty, and the bedsheets were dirty too. Warm water was available only at certain times, Wi-Fi barely worked, there was no breakfast, and the onsite restaurant was closed. Avoid it if you need basic hygiene and quiet rest.

The hotel is right in the centre of town, so restaurants and shops are easy to reach on foot. Staff were courteous and accommodating from check-in through check-out. My room was neat and the basic facilities all worked properly. A hassle-free stay, highly recommended.
