The breakfast shown as available on Oyo turned out not to be provided, and they didn’t even give us drinking water. They also wouldn’t switch on the water heater, though it was there. There was a TV in the room, but it wasn’t recharged, so it was useless. Then they charged an extra thousand when we arrived. Totally wasted stay, one of my worst experiences.

We only booked one night, but they wanted more money on top of what we'd already paid. There was no water even for the toilet, and the place felt cramped and uncomfortable. They don't speak any language other than Malayalam.

OYO took a cancellation fee, even though I was refused a room after paying the full amount through them. The property still demanded extra money before letting us stay. The worst booking I've had.

The room itself was good, but this isn't Munnar. OYO listed the address as Devikulam, yet the place is 17 km back from Munnar and 4 km from Anachal. Munnar was 22 degrees when we arrived, while it was 28 degrees where we stayed, which was really disappointing. It's a home stay with houses very close by, so we couldn't enjoy a peaceful night. We trusted OYO with our Munnar trip and felt cheated. The trip was spoiled.
