Plum Judy - The Leisure Hotel

Plum Judy is set in a scenic spot with lovely views and a very peaceful atmosphere, a welcome escape from city life. The resort has a great pool and delicious dining options. Its rooms and villas are spacious, elegantly furnished, and immaculately clean. Staff were courteous, professional, and attentive, with service that seemed to anticipate what guests might need. A serene, rejuvenating choice for couples and families, and highly recommended for its hospitality.

The staff were welcoming and very courteous, and the food was really tasty. Rooms look out over the valley and mountains, and the property and its location made for a beautiful experience. I'd especially recommend trying the spa. If you're visiting Munnar, this is a place I'd recommend staying.

We only had a short trip, but the stay made it enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and free cycles were available for riding around; newspapers were there too. Dinner at the restaurant was good, especially the Chinese food, and the included breakfast was nice. I also had a relaxing oil massage. Our room was large and well kept, and the welcome drink and snack were a nice touch. Getting there was confusing because a mud slide had left the road in poor shape, and we wondered if Google Maps was sending us the wrong way. Once we arrived, though, it was a fantastic place.

The valley view is especially beautiful after dark and in the early morning light. The hotel is surrounded by scenery, though it's a little away from Munnar center. Our room and bathroom were very clean, and everything felt just right. The staff were polite, courteous, and helpful. Food was nice and reasonably priced, with a good South and Continental spread at the buffet breakfast. The spa is a must try if you'd like to relax. Valley view rooms cost more, but you can negotiate, and they're subject to availability.
