The ride up to this mountain resort is long, but the views and fog make it worth it. The rooms were well maintained, and both the food and service were very good. My kids had lots of fun with the indoor games. Sreekala ma’am, the owner of the Golden Ridge, was there throughout and gave us her full attention, making all of us feel at home. It’s a very luxurious resort with excellent hospitality. We’re planning to go back during monsoon. ☺

The dinner was unforgettable, and the food was good. Staff were courteous, and the valley view rooms were stunning. Getting to Golden Ridge was a little tough, but after arriving and checking in, I didn’t regret the choice. Be sure to choose a valley view room. Activities were limited to indoor games, a cardamom plantation walk, and proposed trekking, but we had a great experience overall. We travelled with family in April 2019.

Keep some hard cash with you. The resort takes cards, but charges an extra 18%, and the nearest ATM is around 10 km away. The Ayurvedic massage costs a little more than at other places, but I felt the better setting made it worth paying extra. We had a comfortable, amazing stay. The food was awesome, and the restaurant staff were very polite. Resort staff, from reception to housekeeping, were great too. Excellent location and hospitality. Thanks to the Golden Ridge Team for doing such a great job.

The drive up has a rather steep gradient, the one small drawback we noticed. Otherwise, Golden Ridge Mountain Resort was quiet and serene, yet warm and welcoming, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Our family had a short holiday there in mid April 2017, and we hope to come back for longer sometime. The rooms were cozy, clean, well appointed, and well maintained, and the service was excellent. There are indoor games and outdoor activities, and every staff member was courteous and caring, going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. I’d certainly recommend Golden Ridge Mountain Resort to travelers wanting to relax amid natural beauty, away from the city rush. (Sherine Raveendran)

The hill valley view was spectacular, and the food was high quality. I visited Olive Golden Ridge for my honeymoon, and what stood out most was how relaxing the place felt. The spot was gorgeous, everything felt just right, and the staff were very accommodating. We also went horseback riding and trekking, both wonderful and memorable. I’ll definitely recommend this resort.
