The balcony view was gorgeous, and the receptionist and housekeeping staff were active, responsive, and very helpful. The pool was clean and well maintained. We checked out early, and the process was smooth. The team had breakfast ready for us ahead of time, which was a thoughtful touch. The property we originally booked was switched before we arrived because of a drainage issue, and they told us in advance. Our room was clean but very basic, with no toiletries, and the jet spray didn't work properly. Breakfast was average too. We stayed two days, but chose to leave early. It was a mixed stay, with great views and supportive staff, though the room amenities and food need work.

The morning scenery was beautiful, and we really enjoyed using the pool at night. There are plenty of places to visit around this hotel. It made for a memorable and worthwhile stay.

It was so peaceful, with beautiful surroundings, that this felt like a perfect getaway. The staff made a real effort to help us feel welcome and relaxed. Our room was spotless, nicely designed, and very comfortable. We had an incredible stay at Arbour Resort and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

The hotel room had some of the best views I've ever seen, and the food was good too. I had an amazing experience and highly recommend this resort for a stay.

Being well away from Munnar’s tourist spots means you’ll spend more time travelling, so keep that in mind when booking. Dinner was a letdown too: the buffet was available on our first night, then cancelled the next day without notice. The food was average, with no traditional Kerala dishes, and kitchen staff were very slow with orders. The pool also needs better cleaning and attention to safety, especially since it was too cold for us to use. There were some good things. We had a lovely view of the hills, sunrise and clouds, which felt special compared with everyday life. Our room was spacious and had a balcony, the staff were polite and helpful, and parking was available. There’s also a children’s pool and play area. At check-in, though, the manager said we had to pay the remaining 50% right away, even though we usually pay at checkout. Rainwood booking staff didn’t help sort out the confusion.
