The food was tasty, and the courteous staff were helpful throughout. We also had clean, spacious rooms and lovely tea estate views in a calm, green setting. It was a refreshing place to relax, and I'd recommend it for families, couples, or anyone wanting a quiet stay in Munnar. It's a little way from central Munnar, so it suits people who value peace over easy access to town. Some reviewers mention the drive time and hilly roads, though most felt the tranquil setting was worth it.

Ajith uncle's personal care and warm hospitality made us feel at home. The food was a real highlight, delicious and beyond what we expected, and the gala dinner was thoughtfully arranged. The midnight New Year countdown created a lovely atmosphere, making it a special way to welcome January 1. We arrived at Wild Trails Munnar on 31st December and were immediately taken by the mountain scenery. We kept stopping to take pictures from every angle. It was a comfortable stay and a memorable place to relax and recharge as a couple.

The homemade-style food was made with such care, and we really enjoyed it. The staff were cheerful and pleasant, and we especially recommend the jeep safari. Our family of five, my parents in their 60s, my wife, our three-year-old son, and me, had a lovely long weekend here. A perfect spot to unwind. We hope to return on our next trip to Kerala.

The property is beautiful and lets you feel surrounded by nature. I also enjoyed meeting the staff, whose service was amazing most of the time. Breakfast was great, with Kerala specialties alongside American-style food. Still, a few parts of the stay fell short after I'd been so excited by the reviews that I canceled another booking. Dinner arrived cold, and I expected food made ahead to at least be heated before serving. The AC in our room leaked. After we reported it, three people came in and dismantled it while we were still there. I understand they wanted to fix the problem, but they should have waited until we went to breakfast so our morning wasn't disturbed. There was also construction noise in the mornings. I found the jeep safari underwhelming and wouldn't recommend it. If they improve dinner service and preserve the quiet, I'd be more likely to recommend the property or return.
