The Wind Munnar

There was just one boy besides the receptionist or manager, and he seemed to be running around handling everything. Service and cleanliness were poor. The reception and dining areas were muddy and dirty, and even the dining table hadn't been wiped. Food was below average and expensive. The room and bathroom were in bad shape, with stained, torn sheets and dirty curtains and sofa cushions. There was no hot water in the bathroom or kettle in the room, which is a problem in a hill station. The place has no maintenance. I feel it should have shut years ago. It's a scam, so don't be taken in by the positive reviews.

The morning mist moving over the hills was unforgettable. Wind Munnar Resort has beautiful valley views and a relaxing feel throughout. Service was quick and courteous, and they took care of cleanliness and comfort. A calm hillside break that exceeded my expectations.

Muthu, the caretaker, was there whenever we needed something. He even sent his brother to buy supplies from shops far away, and he cooks very well, especially the chicken curry. We really appreciated his service and recommend the resort to people traveling for a relaxing holiday. The room was spacious and affordable, with a quiet atmosphere and a beautiful view from the ridge.

The rooms are wide, and the restrooms were bigger than I expected. You can see the valley from the balcony, but that's about all there is to do nearby. No tourist spots are close, and there aren't any restaurants nearby either. The food wasn't up to standard. This is really just rooms in a dense area, not a forest. Reaching it is tough: the roads are very narrow and steep, and two vehicles can't pass. There is no swimming pool.
