Munroe Paradise

We booked two cottages just a couple of days ahead for five of us, and ₹1,500 per cottage felt fair for the space and comfort. Each could easily fit 3-4 people. The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Only issue was the path to the cottages, which had become slippery and waterlogged in the rain. Otherwise, a really good stay.

The rooms were huge, clean, and spacious, and our kids loved staying here. The family who runs this little homestay looked after us like their own. A sweet lady made lovely lunch and dinner, and we went on two beautiful boat tours with their guidance, both at the best price. Temples just a few steps away are also a must visit, and the local women keep them beautifully maintained. Thank you.

The sunrise trip in a small boat was a real highlight of my time in India. The owner was lovely and very helpful, and the big, clean room had a fan. A mosquito net would have been nice. There are palm trees all around, plus a garden with comfortable spots to relax. At night, the lights make it feel romantic. Such a calm place. I’d happily come back.

The canoe trip from here to the viewpoint was beautiful, and priceless to me. Mr. Anu, the owner, is a very humble person. Munroe island felt like a little paradise. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this resort for a vacation.
