Hotel White Cloud

A good budget option near Kankaria gate #1, with spacious, practical rooms. It’s a newly opened, mid-size hotel with 40 rooms, and the people are good. They still need to make it feel more professional and raise hygiene standards, especially with deep cleaning, bathrooms, towels, and linens. The windows also need redoing for a cleaner look, and the rooms need better soundproofing and cleaning.

For an affordable stay near the beautiful Kankaria, this is a great choice. The rooms are clean and nice, the food is great, and the service is the best.

It’s near Ahmedabad station, and the rooms work well for one person. Food service was very good. The taste, quality, and portion size were all amazing.

The rooms were clean and tidy, though ours had a slight bad-drain smell. Hot water stopped working in our rooms, but they fixed it promptly. Check-in took a long time because there was a lot of paperwork. One room’s key failed several times, and reception told my family to ask them for access every time they wanted to go back in. That was very odd and unacceptable. They eventually fixed the issue after we pushed them. The hotel is right by the busy Kankaria gate 2 area, alongside Purohit Restaurant and opposite Asish restaurant. Traffic noise from the junction and Kankaria park can carry into the rooms, which was off-putting. On our last day there was a wedding, and the noise was beyond a joke. The hotel was adequate for our trip.
