The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, though the food is just decent. There’s a little pool and some swings in the garden area, which is actually on the beach side of the fence. The rooms have balconies overlooking the sea, and the place sits right by the beach. Worth a visit.

You should stay for the view alone. The Murud beach is easy to reach, and the view is lovely. The rooms are a little small but comfortable. The toilets are small too, and although renovated, some work still seems unfinished, with a mirror to install and tiles missing. Breakfast was good; the evening food was just okay and could improve if they tried harder.

The staff were friendly and very cooperative, and the hotel was clean and well looked after. For a sea view, ask for an upper-floor room facing the water, since not all rooms have one. The rooms have large windows but are small, with small balconies. Towels were limited, there were no hand towels, and the electricity fluctuated. The view takes in Murud beach and Padmadurga. The hotel is away from the beach’s busy tourist area, but the beach is still easy to reach and not crowded there. Food was above average, with standard North Indian options but no tandoori.

Every room has a private bathroom and a kettle, and the hotel provides wardrobes. Some rooms look out over the lake. Hotel Murud Beach Home also has sea views, a private beach area, a garden, and a terrace. There’s an ATM on the property, and the front desk is open 24 hours.
