OYO 14158 The Kempty Fall Resort

We arrived today after booking through Bookings.com the day before yesterday, only to be told there were no rooms available. We had booked under the name Four Seasons, but they turned out to be fake ones. The rooms were decent, yet the way they treated us as customers left us giving the hotel one star.

They use fake names. We had a booking and had spoken with the staff the day before we planned to visit, but when we asked for our room at the property, they said the hotel was sold out. Shitty hotel, shitty people.

The rooms smelled bad, the washrooms were dirty, and there was no security at all, so I wouldn't consider it safe for children. We also had long periods without electricity. Staff ignored our requests and offered no help, even after several reminders. The service was extremely disappointing. Don't come here.

The hotel is clean, the staff are good, and the view is lovely, though part of the property is still being built. It works for a group, but if you're travelling alone or with only women, check how many rooms are occupied. Kempty Falls is about 10-15 minutes away. Other sights are roughly an hour back toward the city, and cabs are expensive. If you mainly want to see the sights and walk around Mall Road, this feels too far out, almost in the middle of nowhere.
