Ama Residency by OYO Rooms

It’s on the blr mysore route, and the owner is good. The room and AC were clean, the price was cheap, and service was okay. But the room itself is tiny, the bathroom isn’t great, and the hotel is up steps. There aren’t nearby hotels, just a few small places that looked unhygienic. Service costs a lot and can be slow to respond. I’d consider it if travelling alone, needing an urgent place, or just looking for a cheap stay. Small room, though.

My Oyo booking was refused when I arrived because they said they couldn’t provide the room at the price shown on Oyo. I also don’t think family members are safe here. Please don’t book this hotel.

After travelling all day, I reached at midnight with an Oyo confirmation, only to be told the hotel was full and they couldn’t honor my booking. They told me to contact Oyo, so I ended up on the street trying to sort it out and find somewhere to rest. I really didn’t like how the hotel handled it. The whole thing was a terrible experience.

Just 100mtr from colambia hospital, and not far from the city. The place is neatly maintained, and the staff are friendly, polite, and caring. It worked well for a comfortable stop during a highway night ride.
