We booked through the hotel's official website and showed them the confirmation email and payment after we arrived, but they denied everything. They said they don't have a website right now. This felt like a business strategy: we visited on 2nd oct, their peak season, and they could easily get 2.5k-3k offline for the same room we'd booked for 1.2k.

They refused to give me the room on the day I checked in, despite my official website booking for one night made 10 days ahead. They said the Dasara festival price had gone up, then blamed a third-party partner for managing online bookings. That lack of coordination and accountability is completely unprofessional and irresponsible. I've never come across worse management. I strongly advise against booking online here, since nearby hotels offer better service and lower prices.

If they don't accept online bookings, they should remove the hotel from the sites so people don't get put through this. I booked through their site, but when I got there they refused check-in and said they don't take online bookings. They showed me a room that was pathetic, and the charge was far too high for this hotel. Seriously, why?

The road noise came straight through the louver window, and loud, constant honking from buses and other vehicles kept waking us at any time. We just had to manage. The basin had several red spit stains, though the bathroom itself was okay. We spent two nights here with my wife, and the stay was bad compared with other hotels I've used. The room was too small, with very old furniture, and a dusty atmosphere that made us sneeze a couple of times. The bedsheet and pillow covers were dirty, as were the curtains. The thin, small blanket had multiple little holes and wasn't comfortable for two. Reception refused an extra blanket; after repeated requests they didn't change the sheets, then provided just one on the second night instead of the extra blanket. We also never got towels despite asking several times. The room wasn't cleaned either. They kept saying they'd do it now, in the morning, or in the afternoon, and then ignored it. I'd tell others to find a better stay rather than put up with this.
