After checking in, my wife and I went out. When we got back, there was someone else’s luggage in our room. We found out that someone had used the room even though we still had its key. It seemed that any key could open any room door. We checked out right away and found another place to stay. I felt this was very unsafe for a family. Getting there was also a problem: the GPS location in the app was wrong and took us to a remote area. We had to call the call centre to get the resort’s contact number.

We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, and parking was limited, which could be tricky when it’s busy. One dish also arrived less hot than we expected. Even so, our Saturday dinner with the family was really enjoyable. The restaurant had a warm, welcoming feel, with clean tables, comfortable seats and soft music. Though it was crowded, staff greeted us politely and got us seated quickly. Our food took around 20 minutes, reasonable for how busy it was. The grilled chicken was tender, full of flavor and cooked just right. Creamy pasta had the right seasoning, and the pizza came with a crispy crust and fresh toppings, though it could’ve been hotter. The fresh juice tasted natural and refreshing. Service was excellent throughout. Staff checked on us often and quickly brought extra napkins and sauces. They were friendly, professional and attentive. Prices were a little above some nearby places, but portions were generous and the food quality made it worth the cost. The washroom was clean and well maintained too. I’d recommend it to friends and families, and would like to come back to try more of the menu.
