Kingston Residency

The room itself was spacious, but it was very unhygienic. The bed and blanket were dirty enough to make me itchy, and even water or towels had to be requested again and again. I booked through OYO and confirmed with the hotel before arriving, yet they said they couldn't see my reservation and wouldn't honor the OYO rate. They wanted full payment even though rooms were available. A very disappointing stay, I can't recommend it.

The photos and appearance gave us the wrong impression, and this was a terrible first experience. We had reserved a room for three, but on arrival were told there was no room and sent somewhere else. The place we were moved to only gave us bedding for two. It felt completely unprofessional and like they cared about taking money more than satisfying guests. I felt misled. Avoid it and save your time and money.

We arrived with a prior booking, only to be told the hotel had no vacancy for our room. They sent us to another one of their hotels, where we still weren't given the room we'd booked. When we asked for a refund, they said to contact Oyo ourselves. Be careful, this felt like a scam.

The staff had an appreciable attitude, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. The rooms smelled bad, and the bedspreads and sheets were both torn and stinking. The pictures shown in the reviews didn't match what we found in person. The hotel is tucked in a narrow lane with no access from the main road, and I don't think the rent is worth it. I suggested to management that they turn it into PG accommodation.
