The front desk interaction was unpleasant from the moment I arrived. Staff were rude and unprofessional, dismissive and disrespectful, as though helping guests was a burden. When I asked why my room wasn't ready on time, they answered irritably and behaved poorly instead of explaining or apologizing. There was no basic courtesy or willingness to help, just rude replies throughout. This sort of treatment is unacceptable in hospitality. If you expect basic respect, I'd strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

A group of 125 school children and I visited Mysore, and this place completely ruined the trip. The whole hotel and rooms stank. There was no hot water for showers, and no water supply to the flush tanks. We were told to use a bucket and mug, but the flush tank wasn't working either. Even after we asked, staff gave no proper response and still didn't provide hot water. The bedspreads and sheets were covered in dust and caused a skin allergy. The mattress springs were irritating, and I couldn't sleep. There were no toiletries, no room service, and no maintenance person available for repairs. Drinking water was left in a bubble-top container on the floor; after asking, we did get a water bottle. The TV remote was broken and didn't work. There was no remote for the air conditioner, so the temperature shown had to be adjusted to switch it on. Worst place to stay.

The smell in the room was so strong that I couldn't eat or drink there. The toilets were very dirty too, and the bedsheets and pillows didn't feel hygienic. The room itself was extremely dirty, with peeling paint and windows and walls in poor shape. There was no room service.

Cockroaches all over the room, and the service was awful. Nobody responded 😑. The worst stay I've had.

The staff were kind and helpful, and it's a nice place for a night stop. The toilets could use better upkeep, though, and the lift wasn't working, which was the biggest hassle. I think the rating would be better once the lift is fixed.
