The staff were polite and helpful, and the location, right opposite the palace gate, is the main plus. The room was large, but maintenance was lacking. There wasn't a towel or any soap, not even a small toilet soap. This could be a nice hotel if it were maintained properly.

Being near Mysore palace is the only real plus. The room was poorly maintained, smelled, and was full of cockroaches. They barely cleaned it, just the basics. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better hotels nearby, and transportation in Mysore is cheaper.

Breakfast had very few choices and wasn't satisfying, and basic toiletries were missing, which added to the inconvenience. The rooms and bath area also fell short on cleanliness, with little attention to hygiene. For what I paid, the conditions and limited amenities didn't offer good value. I hope the hotel takes this criticism seriously and improves the experience so future guests can have a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The room was crawling with cockroaches, even in the bed at night. That was just one part of a terrible stay. There was no drinking water provided, not even half a liter. Lighting was nearly useless: one dim light by the bathroom and two table lamps. There was only one plug point, connected to a TV showing just 20% of its display. When the power went out, staff didn't turn on the backup, and the intercom wasn't working. With our phones uncharged and the room completely dark, we couldn't get to reception. Power returned after an hour; the receptionist said they had forgotten to switch on the backup. It happened again while we were checking out the next day, with no power for around 20 minutes. This time an arrogant receptionist said it was under repair, then claimed it was a machine whose behavior couldn't be predicted. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I couldn't give it negative stars, so I gave one.
